the brutalization of FRANZ BLUM AAA Director: Reinhard Hauff ***
The film is set in the 70s. It tells the story of the bank robber Franz Blum, who ends up in a prison environment, which is marked by power struggles among the prisoners and from the black economy. He finds it hard at first to get along in this world. Relatively fast but he has been through in this Knasthierachie and boxes his way to the top. Our Film Review: This is not a propaganda film. It shows the prisoners not as a counter-employed, the rebellious. It shows the reality of the life of the prisoners who do not sit against the prison system to defend, arrange with him. This is a part of prison reality. The shortcoming of this film is that he the other reality of prison buildings as not so well lit. The only solidarity is being bullied by other prisoners and not taken seriously. This does not correspond to reality. Not all prisoners are in solidarity revolt, just as all the Hartz IV recipients of left-wing radicals , or at least show solidarity with the payday-actions. Prevents us out to fight against Hartz IV? Prevent us from prisoners who want nothing to do with us, remember to prisons to be? And what is (which suggests there are larger numbers than this film) with the cohesive, resistive prisoners? Take, as potential alliance partners at all true enough? This film raises many questions. And we would like, following discussions with you.
